Hurricane Beryl has entered the Caribbean Sea. The Mexican government issuee a green alert, which indicates low danger; but, this could change within at any moment. Beryl is a category 4 hurricane according to the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.

The storm is 1,371.6 statute miles (2,207.4 kilometers | 1,191.9 nautical miles) to the E (100°) of Chetumal, Mexico.

Maximum sustained winds are near 155 mph (250 km/h) with higher gusts. Beryl is moving toward the WNW neat 22 mph (35 kph). No impact area of Mexico has been determined yet.
