Feb/18/2021.- The government of the state of Quintana Roo announced tonight that the stoplight health alert for the whole state of Quintana Roo for the next week would change from ORANGE to YELLOW, that is from February 22 to 28, 2021. According to the official information, the number of people infected decreased substancially in the past week, this allowed the government to make the change of the health alert color level.
Under YELLOW alert, all work activities are permitted. Public space may open on a regular basis, while enclosed public spaces can open with reduced capacity. All activities should be carried out with basic prevention measures. People at higher risk of developing COVID-19 symptoms should continue to take extra precautions.
